Only thing i could find wrong was that the walls were thin. You could hear everything from one side of the place to the other. That we had to clean while on vacation and you have to buy your own tissue.
It was lots of amenities for the kids on property but also close to other things our kids to do. The WiFi system. They have pools bars basketball court a lot to do!!! On our arrival, the staff was excellent. Then when we got into our room. It was not clean and the furniture was terrible.
Dirty towel left in the room. The patio pillows had mildew stains and was thrown all over the patio. Pillows on a couple of the beds had stains on them also. It had only one bar stool in it which we had the maintenance guy to take out because it was broken and we didn't want the kids to hurt themselves on it. When we called back down stairs to report the situation to the staff, they was a little slow on getting this resolved for us.
Finally after several calls , the desk manager called and said she will get us moved into another room the next day. I love the location and the spacious rooms. The lakeview room was a bonus. Even though we had a few hiccups on the day of arrival, overall every thing at the resort was great. The resort is located next to grocery store, gas station, and close to all the main attractions.
Easier access to management when needed. Making sure due to COViD regulations room area sanitized and cleaned properly. Everything went well. Would be nice to have more towels in the rooms. My sister was in bldg she complained of mites coming out of stove when she started cooking.
Overall we had a nice trip. We've stay and Vista Cay pre-Covid and there were luggage carts available. They are no longer available. We've stay and Vista Cay pre-Covid! Clean, clean and clean!!! The mattress was uncomfortable. I enjoyed the cleanliness, peacefulness and the huge space within the unit. Great location, nice large and clean rooms.
The kids enjoyed the large pool. The resort was close to the amusement parks and a grocery store. We stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment which was a great value for the money and included a large living room, full sized dining room, full kitchen, and even a laundry room. The only thing that was annoying and needs to be upgraded were the bed frames.
They were all very loud and squeaky. Also, there were no carts to load your luggage on, not sure if that was because of COVID or always like that. Finally, the resort allows dogs and someone had a high-pitched small dog yepping the entire time we were there for all 4 nights a few rooms away.
Would definitely stay again. I didnt like asking the bartender for. A cup of n she denied me. After i brought drinks from the bar. She was not nice about it at all. I even told her i would pay for the cup of ice.
No is what she kept saying. The condo was very spacious. My children had their own room n bathroom to use. It was very clean and spacious. As well as it being a gated community.
Everyone practiced social distance as well. With this pandemic going on. Clean and beautiful place. Everything and Everyone was Amazing. Needed fitted sheets. Close to everything. Staff attentive and friendly.
Pillows were awful. Room could have used a good vacuuming and wipe down. Roomy, nice pool, nice balcony, good lake view, bed was comfortable. The unit was very spacious and close to everything. The first room we were given was sparsely decorated, had minimal furniture, was not clean and so well maintained. Reception staff explained that as the properties by owner rentals decor was up to the individual owners, took my complaint and offered to move to another apartment - the difference was amazing.
Great location overlooking lake. Well decorated, and maintained, felt like home from home. Had to call office for multiple things. Refrigerator leaked all over floor first day. Half of the toaster worked, blender was broken, and shower head leaked all over wall.
Blender and toaster never got taken care of. Great location and pool area was nice and convenient. Also a great walking trail around property. The beds are old and too soft, porch furniture was old, you couldn't sit in them without adding other cushions otherwise you would fall through the chair.
Towels are old and need to be replaced. The units are in a great location, lots of room, clean and have most of the things we need. More items such as hand soap and bathroom tissue. Need a 2 hour late check out and the facility would not allow. We had rented 3 rooms and felt consideration for flight times would have made the end of stay much better. The rooms were really nice. Broken couch, broken bed. Location, service.
Always well equipped spacious apartments. Basically it was perfect the only disadvantage was the length of the two single beds in the second bed room. Our sons, both over 6 foot, had their feet sticking out. All have separate living rooms and dining rooms, as well as modern, shiny kitchens that come fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, and numerous appliances arranged on the marble countertops. Most condos are entered via interior hallways, but townhouses have their own private entrances.
Like many resorts in the area, Vista Cay largely attracts families visiting Orlando for its many kid-friendly attractions. Therefore, it may come as no surprise that the property offers a game room, as well as a pool. The pool is accessed via the club house, which is also home to the business center, the game room, and the fitness center, which is small but offers several cardio machines and weight-training machines. Some units are just a short walk from the club house, while others are a bit more of a trek.
There are no on-site restaurants, but units come with fully-stocked kitchens and there are numerous dining options just a short drive away. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are also included in the rates. It's primarily a business hotel -- it's next to the Orange County Convention Center and has loads of its own meeting space -- but the room Rosen Plaza also includes a large pool, a notable steakhouse, and a small, windowless gym with Life Fitness equipment.
