The Portsmouth branch was opened in , followed in by the Lancaster branch, opened when American Producers purchased the assets of Nextool. In , the Bucyrus branch was closed and moved to Sunbury, Ohio.

Also in , the company opened its Huntington location which includes facilities for building and testing new slings, as well as providing inspection, repair and certification of chain, web, and wire slings. Most recently, in September , American Producers purchased the assets of Ackerman Chacco, acquiring locations in Cincinnati and downtown Columbus.
